Can sliding bearings be lubricated with grease

During the normal operation of the sliding bearing seat, we need to add lubricating oil, and the sliding bearing can also be lubricated with grease. When choosing grease, the following points should be considered: 1. When the bearing load is large and the speed is low, lubricating grease with small cone penetration should be selected, otherwise, lubricating grease with large cone penetration should be selected. High speed bearings should use lubricating grease with lower cone penetration and better mechanical stability. It should be noted that the viscosity of the base oil of the lubricating grease should be lower. 2. The drip point of the selected lubricating grease is generally 20-30 ℃ higher than the working temperature. In the case of continuous operation at high temperatures, be careful not to exceed the allowable temperature range of the lubricating grease. 3. When sliding bearings work in water or humid environments, calcium based, aluminum based, or lithium based lubricants with good water resistance should be selected. 4. Choose lubricating grease with good adhesion.
